Who am I?

I made my debut in game design at the age of nine with a board game that was almost definitely a cheap knockoff of Candy Land with a space theme. Making that game lit a fire in me, and I spent the next decade cannibalizing every board game in my closet, looking for pieces to make my strange new creations. It was a creative outlet I couldn’t contain.

As I grew older, I expanded my repertoire, designing Magic cards, writing D&D campaigns, and of course, continuing with board games. I made the switch to video games after a brief foray into producing a board game of my own. I didn’t know the business and I wasn’t ready. While I've never given up on making board games, I’ve had an amazing experience charting my path through game development. I’m glad I made the change to this more collaborative environment.

I pride myself on being able to step into almost any role. I’m a quick study, and my eclectic interests have turned into a never-ending stream of ideas and perspectives. Even better, my history of plastic and cardboard has given me decades of experience to draw on for mechanics and systems.

I love what I do, and I can’t wait to show you. Let’s get in touch.
