  • Invented a genetics system that mixed true to life breeding patterns with a proven attribute system that resulted in game horses whose real money sales have surpassed $1,000,000.

  • Distilled real-world horse racing into a skill-based race algorithm which is both fair enough for players to pay to play, while simultaneously unpredictable enough to be wagered on.

  • Designed, created, tooled, and balanced the distribution of hundreds of unique races with requirements based on location, time of day, race condition, purse, entry requirement, competitive level, sponsorship, handicap system, and real-world viability.

Event Designer - Horse Racing Manager 2019- 2023

  • Personally developed a series of live-service game events which directly resulted in more than $100,000 in income and extended the game lifetime for more than two years beyond its expected end date.

  • Stepped up to invent and implement in-game challenges which more than tripled our live event content options.

Puzzle Designer - Haunting Hour 2018-2019

  • Led the design of puzzles and progression resulting in an hour long virtual reality escape room experience which can be played in VR arcades across the U.S. (I most recently spotted a copy in downtown Seattle).

  • Stepped in to fill gaps in scripting, writing, audio recording / implementation, and QA after the initial contract had ended in order to see a successful release.

Oracle Gaming Orlando

Game Designer - Oracle: Threads of Fate 2017-2018

  • Owned Systems and Content from start to finish, including 15 characters and enemy types, each with full level progression, unique abilities, and AI combat patterns.

  • Wrote and managed the implementation of a complete story for the game including both technical and artistic collaboration.
